Be it crunchy breakbeats, jacking grooves or funky bass lines, his eclectic selections & unique musical style lends a fresh perspective to a classic genre, & has seen him captivate a new generation of dancers & punters alike.
Emerging on to the scene in 2013, Daryl Knows honed his craft on the circuit, where he quickly gained the attention of the island’s most prominent promoters. Before long, Daryl Knows had cemented his standing as one of Singapore’s finest selectors by taking his place as a core member in one of the country’s most prominent local electronic imprints, Darker Than Wax.
Since then, Daryl Knows has become a regular fixture in the circuit, delivering his signature blend of raw house cuts & jubilant disco to set off the dance floors at some of Singapore’s major festivals including ZoukOut, Garden Beats Festival & Neon Lights, as well as seen him share the stage with some of the most exciting names in dance music today, such as Peggy Guo, Denis Sulta, DJ Boring, Jackmaster, Jasper James, Demuja, Lars Vegas (Detroit Swindle), Dan Shake, Frits Wentink, Young Marco, Lauer, Kornel Kovacs, DJ Normal 4, Luca Lozano, Christopher Rau, Hidden Spheres, Max Graef, to name a few.
His mixed bag of house & disco beats has travelled with him to shake up countless dance floors across a number of cities, from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo to the iconic festival Bestival in Bali, as well as to the other side of the globe in London, where he represented the Darker Than Wax crew for a live show aired on Soho Radio.
